These days our houses are full of appliances. They make every day jobs easier and general day to day life simpler. If you keep replacing your filter whenever it becomes dirty, it can save you money, reduce the damage the unit does to the environment, plus keep your house cool and dust free.
What a filter does is it removes a great deal of dust, bacteria, pollen and other materials within the air. If you use a dirty filter in your unit, the job of cleaning the air will be more difficult compared to if it had a clean filter. The unit will also end up using more electricity to try and clean your room’s air.
Keeping your air con unit clean is just as important as keeping your washing machine clean. To make sure you keep a healthy air con unit, you should check for dust and a dirty filter about one ever month. Remember that these tips don’t just apply to big air con units, they also apply to a portable air conditioner units.
