If you are above 30 then the chances are you are not going to try it now. However to assume this would be ageist and to try something new should never be thrown out of the window even if you are a ripe age of 100.

Now from personal experience I must say that skateboarding is something that I will never try again ever. From getting on the board I managed a short distance before meeting a nice pond which was kind enough to take my fall. Smelling of pond water for the afternoon is something that cannot be forgotten and the main reason it shall not be attempted again at any stage.

The clothes are the main thing that people like about skaters as they are brilliant. Something about some of these clothes are hip and surprisingly fashionable and no experience on a skateboard is necessary to wear them, things like Rip Curl Tshirts and Vans Shoes are the first things that spring to mind and something that everybody always connects skaters with.

How do you carry your board around with you when not skating on it? Well it may be that you simply put it under your arms and your off but there is an easier way to lug it around and it comes in the form of Dakine backpacks. This enables you to fit the majority if not all of board within the bag to make carrying it that bit easier. Unless you like carrying it by hand.

Of course with the electric skateboards even really lazy people can give it a go. Although these can be just as fun and are still good for the environment. Go on, give it a go?
